About Patrick

My background

  •  I have been proud to call Grosse Pointe Park home for more than 18 years. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know our neighborhoods, our residents, and the unique character that makes this community so special.
  • My commitment to service has grown through my work as Secretary of the Recreation Commission and as Treasurer of Friends of Patterson Playscape, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing our parks and play spaces. These roles have given me the opportunity to collaborate closely with city leadership, local organizations, and residents of all ages — reinforcing my belief in what we can accomplish when we work together.
  • Professionally, I bring experience in consulting, community engagement, and organizational management, skills that I believe will serve our city well. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made as a community, and I’m running for City Council to build on that progress, support our current leadership, and ensure that every resident feels heard and valued.

Community Roots

  • As a third-generation Grosse Pointer and a proud graduate of Grosse Pointe South, my connection to this community runs deep. After graduating from Wayne State University with a degree in Finance, I chose to continue building my life here in Grosse Pointe Park — the place I’ve called home for more than 18 years.
  • I’ve built lasting friendships with neighbors, shared in community traditions, and celebrated the spirit that makes our city so special. From summer evenings in our parks to conversations with residents at local events, I’ve experienced firsthand the sense of connection and pride that defines Grosse Pointe Park.
  • Living here has deepened my appreciation for the dedication of our residents, city staff, and current leadership. It’s also inspired me to stay actively involved, contributing where I can to help strengthen the bonds that make our community unique. This city isn’t just where I live — it’s where I belong, and where I’m proud to continue building my future.

Involved and Invested

  • My commitment to Grosse Pointe Park extends beyond simply living here — I’ve made it a priority to be an active participant in the life of our city. Over the years, I’ve been honored to serve as Secretary of the Recreation Commission and Treasurer of Friends of Patterson Playscape, working closely with neighbors, city staff, and leadership to improve and protect the spaces we all enjoy.
  • I’ve also been engaged with local organizations, community groups, and neighborhood initiatives that bring people together, strengthen connections, and enhance our quality of life. These roles have allowed me to collaborate on projects that matter to residents — from improving our parks and infrastructure to supporting events that celebrate our city’s unique character.
  • I’m running for City Council to help Grosse Pointe Park remain a vibrant and engaged community. I believe in being responsive to residents, supporting our parks, infrastructure, and city services, and working in partnership with city leadership to honor our strengths while planning for the future.
